The Lion King 1.5 — Hakuna Matata
I was commissioned by the independent developers Blue 52 to write an original script for a Disney Interactive console game of The Lion King.
Each script segment, from help or inventory screen dialogue to in-game cut scenes, was written in Word originally, then all of it was transferred to a giant Excel file—it made it easier to split for recording purposes.
It's a huge script—more than 1200 "assets" in an Excel file, each of which can be anything from a context-related exclamation or grunt, to several lines of dialogue.
